Mint Chocolate

Immerse your tastebuds with the classic combination of mint and chocolate. Mint chocolate is that refreshing-meets-rich combo that gives you the best of both worlds: cool, crisp mint and deep, creamy chocolate. It's a classic duo that's been loved for ages — think of it like chocolate with a breath of fresh air! Mint chocolate blends mint flavoring (usually peppermint or spearmint oil/extract) with chocolate, typically dark or milk chocolate. Sometimes it's infused directly into the chocolate, other times it's layered, swirled, or filled. Popular mint chocolate varieties include mint chocolate bars flavoured with mint oil of mint-flavoured cream or fondant centres. Mint chocolate chips which are often used in baking and can be green-tinted or just mint-flavored regular chips. Mint chocolate ice cream which is a fan-favourite! Usually green (but doesn't have to be), with chocolate chunks or chips mixed into minty ice cream. Truffles and filled chocolates - smooth, creamy mint centers encased in rich chocolate. Mint varieties used vary from peppermint - sharp, bold, and slightly spicy, to spearmint - sweeter, milder and more herbal. Mint contains menthol, which tricks your brain into feeling cold — that’s why mint chocolate feels so “refreshing.” Peppermint and chocolate is a popular wintertime combination (hello, candy cane bark!) Polarizing flavor - some people love it, some say it tastes like chocolate toothpaste — it’s one of those combos. We love it because it's a great balance of sweet, rich, and fresh, it tastes indulgent but still feels light (thanks to that cool mint), it works in both cold and warm desserts and it pairs well with dark chocolate for a sophisticated edge.
